Project Description

The complex and long-awaited Tilford II Project was completed in the Fall of 2023. This project was met with many challenges, namely inventory that needed to be carefully acquired and planned precisely to limit stopping water service to customers, scheduling staff teams, avoiding other utility connections, and weather conditions.

Project Outcome

The project has successfully improved access to safe and clean drinking water for the residents near the Tilford area. Outdated facilities have been replaced, and new services such as meters and ball valves/check valves have been installed for customers. Moreover, the area now benefits from enhanced fire protection measures by upsizing the pipe from 4-6 inch to 8 inch increasing capacity.
