2025 Urban Water Management Plan Project Initiation

Water is essential to life in the desert, and planning ahead is how we protect this precious resource. Local urban water suppliers across the greater Mojave region are working together on the 2025 Regional Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP).

Every five years, California requires water providers to update their plans for meeting community needs. For our region, this means carefully assessing how we use water, where it comes from, and how we’ll keep it reliable for homes, businesses, and future generations.

By planning now, we’re ensuring a sustainable, resilient water supply that supports the people and communities who call the Mojave home. The document below provides information on how you can contribute.
